In 2021, Electronic Image had the awesome opportunity to collaborate with Metallica on their album, 72 Seasons. To launch this highly anticipated record, Metallica commissioned a music video and visualizer for each track and organized a global, one-night-only theatrical release. Alongside L.A.-based Setta Studio, Electronic Image was honored to be selected to direct and co-produce the music video and visualizer for the standout track “Shadows Follow.”

From concept to capture, and through the stages of editing, animating audio-reactive visuals, and crafting cutting-edge VFX, Electronic Image delivered a powerful visual experience. We are immensely proud to have played a pivotal role in this groundbreaking event, creating a stunning visual journey that accompanied the album’s debut, which charted at number 2 on the US Billboard 200 and saw 15.9 million streams.
